SVA Computer Arts Department – Students showcase

The School of Visual Arts’ Computer Art Department showcases the best students’ work in its website and I have to say there’s a lot of good stuff! You can find 2D and 3D computer animation work, as well as motion graphics and visual effects; all amazing, full of creativity and beautifully executed.

InteractivePNG class by Moses Gunesch

This is a very useful utility class that allows you to ignore transparent pixels on rollover. Not only that, it also lets you set an alpha tolerance level so you can have complete control over how much transparency is needed to register a hit. It’s pretty cool, check it out!

Alejandro Paul – Fonts from Argentina

Alejandro Paul is an amazing Typographer and Graphic Designer from Argentina. He is one of the founders of the Sudtipos project, the first Argentinean type foundry collective.
